Join us for an exceptional wine experience as we invite you to the first wine weekend of the year at the beautiful Stammershalle.
We have crafted an experience where fantastic wine, exquisite cuisine, and atmospheric surroundings come together in perfect harmony.
This time, we will take you on a tasting journey through Germany’s wine universe, guided by our restaurant manager Tim Ottosen and the renowned sommelier Pontus Eloffson.
Highlights of the weekend:
Friday the 23th of May – We welcome you with a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival.
At 6:00 PM, we gather in Stammershalle’s newly renovated wine cellar – a unique oasis created from Bornholm granite.
Here, you’ll receive an introduction to Germany’s wine traditions, followed by an exquisite 3-course dinner paired with mature top wines, such as Riesling from 1976 & 1997 and Spätburgunder from 2008 & 2011.
Saturday the 24th of May – After a delightful breakfast, we begin the next chapter of Germany’s wine story.
Pontus Eloffson, former head sommelier at NOMA, offers an exciting insight into Germany’s natural wine scene.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy an exclusive concert in the restaurant, where pianist koncert i restauranten, hvor pianist Johann Gustav og sangerinde Frederikke Vedel create an enchanting atmosphere with a musical spring theme. Alternatively, you can explore the beauty of Bornholm.
On saturday evening we elevate the experience with an extravagant 7-courses gourmet menu, where we open bottles from some of Germany’s most legendary producers. We will taste Egon Müller’s iconic wines, one of Germany’s finest Chardonnays, as well as highly acclaimed Spätburgunders from Daniel Twardowski, whose Pinot Noix Hofberg 2020 has earned an impressive 98 point at James Suckling.
Sunday the 25th of May – We conclude the weekend with a lovely breakfast buffet and a glass of German bubbles – the perfect ending to a weekend dedicated to wine.

A sumptuous breakfast buffet
Every morning you get up to our signature; breakfast buffet with a large selection of Bornholm specialties and homemade delicacies. Freshly baked bread, croissants, sweet treats and salad are part of the experience, just as there is always fresh juice and freshly made coffee or tea.
Here the day begins at a leisurely pace, so take your time to wake up and enjoy the morning light and the first bits with a view of another wonderful day at the beach hotel. Weather permitting, you are welcome to eat breakfast on our large terrace next to the restaurant, where the panoramic view over the sea shines undisturbed.
Lean back in the cozy living rooms, enjoy the view over the Baltic Sea with Christiansø and Gudhjem on the horizon and experience the unique rocky landscape around the seaside hotel. The Troll Forest is only a few minutes’ walk away, just as the iconic Helligdomsklipper, Denmark’s only waterfall in Døndalen and Bornholm’s Art Museum are also close to Stammershalle Badehotel.
